An outdoor team building excursion.
Nestled back in the remote woodlands of the Four Mounds Nature Preserve, the Four Mounds Ropes Course is the perfect outdoor team building adventure. Both our High Ropes and Low Ropes facilities are ideal for sports teams, school groups from grade school through college, faith-based retreats, corporate retreats, field trips, or just nature-friendly thrill seekers.
Reach new heights, together.
What seems impossible at first becomes achievable with the right guidance—and that’s where our expert instructors come in. Whether you’re scaling the High Ropes or navigating the Low Ropes, every activity is designed to inspire growth, connection, and a shared sense of accomplishment.

Rock Climbing Tower
Our 3-sided tower offers 9 potential routes that vary in difficulty. The tower includes a chimney, an overhang, and of course flat walls for basic climbing and repelling.
Giants Swing
Trust your teammates to pull you anywhere from 8 feet to 40+ feet off the ground. When ready, pull the ripcord and take a massive swing through the woods.
Bosuns Chair
While standing on swings, use your own body as momentum to move far enough to grab the next swing. Accomplish this feat at over 40 feet in the air.
Leap of Faith
Just jump! Climb to a platform over 25 feet from the ground, only to jump out and grab a bandana suspended in the air. This element is very psychologically challenging.
Giants Ladder
The Giant’s Ladder is a more advanced element, and incorporates team building elements of the Lows but at a whole different level. Can you climb to the top rung?
Choose your own adventure.
High Ropes
Equipped with over 15 diverse elements—ranging from a zip line and giant swing to three unique rock climbing walls, and much more—the High Ropes Course challenges participants to push themselves to the next level in a safe, controlled environment.
Low Ropes
Team building comes most into play during a journey on the Low Ropes Course. Teammates solve over 12 obstacles—big puzzles in the woods—using their minds and putting faith in their team. While the pace on the High Ropes is exciting, the mood for the Low Ropes is calmer—favoring brain over brawn.
