After Seven Years, It's Time for a New Ride
Our trusty mower has earned its retirement. Help us keep Four Mounds growing.
Since 2019, this machine has logged nearly 1,300 hours and 6,800 miles in service of Four Mounds. It's cut acres of grass, hauled gear across the property, and helped us look after our historic site and 40-acre farm. Simply put, it's been a workhorse.
But it's done more than mow. It's been a classroom on wheels. Dozens of students in our HEART program have learned to operate it safely, keep it maintained, diagnose problems, and make real repairs. That's Four Mounds in a nutshell: we use what we have, we take care of it, we teach with it, and we put it to work.
One Small Investment, One Big Difference
We’ve found a solid new-to-us mower for around $4,000 — a modest cost to keep this place, and everything that happens here, moving forward. Want to be part of it? Make a gift below, call us at 563-557-7292, or stop by and see what we’re up to.
